The fine print, kept gentle

Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

These terms keep things clear between you and Moodora. We've written them the way we'd want to read them — plainly, and without surprises. By using the app you're agreeing to what's below.

Acceptance of terms

By downloading, opening, or using Moodora (the app, the website, and the services behind them), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree with them, that's completely fine — please don't use the app. If you're using Moodora on behalf of someone else or an organisation, you're confirming you have the authority to accept these terms for them. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country) to use Moodora.

The service

Moodora is a mood-based AI travel planner. You tell us how you're feeling and how much energy you have, and the app suggests trips, places, and gentle day-by-day plans designed to match your state of mind rather than rush you through a checklist.

Everything Moodora suggests is inspiration, not instruction. We don't book anything for you, and we can't promise that any place, route, or detail is current. Always verify the practical things yourself before you rely on them, including:

  • Opening hours, closures, and seasonal availability
  • Prices, fees, and what's actually included
  • Transport schedules, routes, and connections
  • Entry requirements, visas, and local rules
  • Safety, weather, and health advice for your destination

Accounts & your data

Using Moodora involves an account, so your trips can sync across your devices and stay safe if you lose your phone. What you create — your moods, your trips, your saved places — is made on your device and synced privately to your account, where it belongs to you. You can delete individual trips, or your whole account and its synced data, at any time.

A few ground rules for accounts: the information you give us must be accurate; your account is personal and may not be shared, sold, or transferred; and one person should not create or operate multiple accounts to get around plan limits. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for activity that happens under your account. Let us know promptly at [email protected] if you think someone else has access.

Plans, subscriptions & billing

Moodora offers a Free plan with the core mood-based planning, and paid plans (such as Pro and Plus) that unlock the deeper, AI-powered features. We may also offer one-off top-ups, such as extra AI message packs.

  • Purchases are billed through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or our payment provider Stripe (for purchases made on the web), each under their own terms.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime — from your App Store or Google Play settings, or from the billing portal for web purchases. Cancellation stops the next renewal; the current period keeps running until it ends.
  • For purchases made through Apple or Google, refunds are handled by those stores under their refund policies.
  • For purchases made through Stripe on the web, payments are non-refundable except where the law says otherwise — we don't give refunds or credits for partial subscription periods, unused quota, or one-off packs that have started being used. If you're an EU consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services; by starting to use paid features immediately, you request immediate performance and acknowledge that once the service has been fully used within those 14 days the withdrawal right lapses, and for partial use a proportional deduction applies.
  • Prices and what each plan includes may change over time; we'll give you notice before a change affects an active subscription, and you can cancel before it applies.

Fair use of AI features

Moodora's AI features run on real infrastructure that costs real money, so every plan comes with usage limits (for example, a monthly number of trip generations, refinements, chat messages, and image lookups). The current limits are shown in the app. To keep the service healthy and fair for everyone, we may:

  • Meter, throttle, or queue AI requests, and adjust plan limits over time
  • Temporarily pause AI features for everyone when service-wide safety limits are reached
  • Require an active paid plan for some or all AI features

The limits exist to support normal, personal travel planning. Systematic extraction, automation, or any attempt to get around them is not normal use — see below.

Acceptable use

We want Moodora to stay a calm, trustworthy place. When you use it, you agree not to:

  • Break the law, or use the app to plan or do anything harmful or unsafe
  • Probe, scan, attack, overload, or otherwise interfere with the service, its servers, or its security — or access data or accounts that aren't yours
  • Circumvent, disable, or tamper with usage limits, quotas, payment checks, entitlement or receipt verification, rate limiting, or any other technical or billing protection
  • Create or operate multiple or automated accounts, share or resell account access, or impersonate someone else
  • Access the service by any automated means (bots, scrapers, scripts) or use it to bulk-extract AI output, build datasets, train models, or resell AI-generated content as a service
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, copy, or create derivative works of the app, its APIs, or its prompts, except where the law expressly permits it
  • Use the AI features to generate unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, or infringe anyone else's rights

Enforcement, suspension & termination

If we reasonably believe you've breached these terms — including any abuse of the AI features, attempts to hack or defraud the service, circumvention of limits or billing, or use of stolen payment methods — we may, without prior notice: suspend or restrict your access, disable specific features (including all AI features), block associated devices, addresses, or payment methods, remove offending content, and terminate your account. Where practical we'll tell you what happened and, for minor issues, give you a chance to fix things first — but for serious or deliberate abuse we act immediately.

If your account is terminated or suspended for a breach of these terms, any fees already paid are forfeited and will not be refunded, and unused quota, credits, or packs are lost — to the fullest extent permitted by the law of your country. We may also recover from you the reasonable costs and damages caused by the abuse (for example, third-party API costs generated by circumvented limits). Nothing in this section limits rights that consumer law gives you and that can't be waived.

You can stop using Moodora and delete your account at any time from within the app. Deleting the account doesn't automatically refund any purchase, and store-billed subscriptions must also be cancelled with Apple or Google so they stop renewing.

Intellectual property

Moodora — including its name, design, software, and content — belongs to us and our licensors, and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own travel planning. The trips and notes you create yourself remain yours; using the app doesn't sign those over to us. You give us only the technical permission we need to store, sync, and process your content in order to run the service.

AI-generated content

Moodora's itineraries, suggestions, and descriptions are generated by AI. That makes them creative and personal — but also imperfect. They are suggestions only, with no guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or availability. Places may have changed, moved, or closed since the model learned about them, and details can simply be wrong. AI output is not professional, medical, legal, financial, or safety advice.

Treat AI suggestions as a thoughtful starting point, not a source of truth. The final call on where you go and what you do is always yours, and decisions you make based on AI output are your responsibility.

Service changes & availability

Moodora keeps evolving. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may suspend the service for maintenance, security, or reasons outside our control. We don't promise uninterrupted availability. If we ever discontinue a paid feature you've prepaid for, we'll offer a fair remedy — that situation aside, temporary unavailability doesn't extend or refund a subscription.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

Moodora is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We don't promise the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for every purpose, and we're not responsible for decisions you make based on its suggestions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Moodora and its team won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the app — including missed bookings, travel disruptions, or costs from relying on AI-generated content. Where liability can't be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that can't legally be excluded (such as for intent, gross negligence, or personal injury), or your statutory consumer rights.

Indemnity

If your breach of these terms — including abuse of the AI features or attacks on the service — causes a third party to bring a claim against us, or causes us direct costs, you agree to compensate us for the reasonable losses, costs, and expenses that result. This doesn't apply to the extent consumer law in your country says otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Moodora grows. When we make a meaningful change, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where it matters, let you know in the app. If you keep using Moodora after a change takes effect, that means you accept the updated terms. If you don't agree with a change, stop using the service and cancel before it applies.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any disputes will be handled by the competent courts of Romania. If you're a consumer in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform. Nothing here removes consumer protections you're entitled to under the law where you live. If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
